With my lack of love for Avatar, I was losing my faith in J.Cameron. Don't get me wrong, the visuals for Avatar were fantastic with the 3-D, but the story didn't draw me in enough to love it. It was my fault for trying to put it up to par with Titanic, but everyone probably did the same thing haha.
April 6, 2012, Titanic will be re-released in theaters and in 3-D, Avatar style! I saw the movie 8 times in theaters when it was originally released (I know, a bit much), but I will DEFINITELY be seeing this one, at least once in 3-D. I can't wait!

Underworld Awakening
Kate Beckinsale is BACK!
I LOVED the first Underworld and the second was pretty good too. The third was okay I guess, but it wasn't the same. When I first heard that they were doing another one and Kate was rumored to come back, I about peed my pants. Then I saw the trailer and again, almost peed lol. I'm not sure if Scott Speedman is going to make an appearance in this one at all, but he doesn't have anything else going on with his life (that I know of anyway haha) so he needs to be in it...alive, and still in love :)
From the preview it looks like she's on the hunt for him. She's been held captive for 12 years since the 2nd movie and is out for revenge. I can't wait for this to come out. It may be time to watch the first two again :)

Snow White Retelling
So, at first hearing that Snow White was about to be re-made into not one, but two movies due out next year, I wanted to slit my wrists. I am now taking that back lol.
The two versions tell about the same story, but they look drastically different and both have a different feel to them as well.
Mirror Mirror is more family oriented by the looks of the preview. Julie Roberts plays the evil queen and she seems like she'll do a decent job at it. I love her, don't get me wrong, but watch both previews and you'll know what I mean. This version looks cute and I'm sure I'll see it eventually.
Mirror Mirror:
Snow White and the Huntsman looks like it will be the better of the two (although the folks behind previews always know how to make a movie look amazing, even if it won't be...but I don't think this one will be the case). I'll start with the bad - Kristin Stewart. While I'm not a KStew hater, she's not an amazing actress. She can play one main type of role, and that's okay with me...I just don't think a kick ass Snow White is going to be one of those...we will see. Now onto the good (which most of the preview is about. Charlize Theron as the EVIL queen! She definitely plays the part EXTREMELY well based on this preview. Another good thing about the preview is that hopefully the movie will be more about her than actually Snow White.
